2 Years Limited Warranty

I. Introduction

This warranty applies to the irrigation controller designed and assembled by Source Writers and purchased by you, the original purchase-holder. The product is guaranteed to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for a period of two years from the original date of purchase.

This warranty is given on the condition that the electronic device was purchased from Source Writers and used under normal conditions and in accordance with the given guidelines. We highly recommend customers to read carefully and keep this warranty for future reference.

II. Coverage Period

The warranty takes effect from the date of purchase and extends for a continuous period of two years thereafter. If a claim is placed, the coverage continues on the replacement product for the remaining period of the initial warranty duration or for 90 days, whichever period is longer.

Please note that the warranty period will not be extended or renewed or otherwise affected due to subsequent resale, repair or replacement of the product. However, part(s) repaired or replacement product during the warranty period will be warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period or for ninety (90) days from the date of repair or replacement, whichever is longer.

III. Coverage Details

This limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship in the electronic device. Coverage includes the replacement of faulty components and necessary labor costs. Any repaired or replaced parts will be covered for the remainder of the original warranty period or for 90 days, whichever is longer.

Please be informed that this limited warranty does not cover software (including the operating system and any installed software), consumable parts (such as batteries), or damage from accidents, misuse, or alterations of the product.

IV. Limitation of Liability

Source Writers will not be liable for any damages and/or losses that occur as a result of the use of the product. This limitation of liability includes, but is not limited to, inability to use the product, loss of data, loss of profit, or loss of time.

The total cumulative liability to the customer, from all causes of action and all theories of liability, will be limited to and will not exceed the purchase price of the product paid by the customer.

V. Claim Process

If the product is found to be defective, we will, at our discretion, repair or replace the product. Repaired or replaced products will be returned to you free of charge.

• Any supporting documentation or photographs

VI. Owner’s Responsibilities

As a product owner, you are responsible for the proper use and maintenance of your electronic device. This includes adhering to the product guidelines, insuring against accidental damage, and protecting your device from theft.

If your device requires service, it is your responsibility to backup all important data, software, and applications, as the service may involve parts replacement and the use of tools that could potentially damage your device. We will not be held responsible for any data loss.

VII. Transferability

This warranty is not transferrable and is limited to the original purchaser of the product only. Any attempt to transfer this warranty will be void.

We reserve the right at any time to make changes to this warranty to reflect changes in legal, regulatory, or operational requirements.

The terms and conditions of this warranty will be overseen, regulated, interpreted and implemented according to the established laws of your specified jurisdiction. This warranty is only a promise of limited coverage during the warranty period and no other advertisement, presentation, or statement made by anyone else, including any authorized dealer, will change that coverage.

Nothing contained in this warranty will reduce or otherwise affect your statutory rights under Australian Consumer law.
